Because I’m a follower of Jesus, the fruits of the Spirit are evident in my life.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,

self-control; against such things, there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23 NASB

Every morning when I wake up:

  • I surrender to the Holy Spirit
  • I pray: “Holy Spirit, I surrender to you today. Please do your work in and through me.”

Every night before I go to bed:

  • I evaluate my day by using the Daily Assessment to honestly answer the 9 questions
  • I pray: “Holy Spirit, work in my heart tonight as I sleep. Transform me so that the fruit of the Spirit can flow through me tomorrow.”

My daily assessment to help determine how much I’m expressing the fruit of the Spirit in my life:

How have I expressed God’s LOVE to people in my life today?

In what ways did I share the JOY of the Lord with others today?

In which relationships did I promote PEACE today?

Where have I exhibited PATIENCE with people today?

To whom have I shown KINDNESS today?

How have I let GOODNESS flow through me to other people today?

What people have felt my actions of FAITHFULNESS today?

Is there anyone in my life that would say that they experienced GENTLENESS through their interactions with me today?

Have I shown the restraint of SELF-CONTROL in my actions and relationships today?
